FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OTTAWA, October 2, 2023 – The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) opened day one of its two-day Congress event in Whistler, BC on World Architecture Day. Congress 2023 focuses on the ongoing challenge of climate change and sustainable architecture and design. Congress is organized into three parts, beginning today with a moderated discussion with Indigenous presenters focusing on how nature, ecological and Indigenous knowledge and practices must be at the centre of climate-resilient solutions.
