January 2024 To celebrate and honour RAIC volunteers, we are pleased to introduce you to Harriet Burdett-Moulton, Member of RAIC Indigenous Task Force. Thank you, Harriet! Why did you decide to become an architect? There are two things that I think influenced my decision to become an Architect. First, my father designed and built boats and houses. He built all the houses that we lived in. Second, in 1970, I was teaching school in Halifax, NS and dating an engineering student.
