SESSION SUMMARY: The Financial Management for Architects course will introduce key concepts for financial literacy and provide a comprehensive in-depth understanding of important terms, strategies, and reports. Simply put, this course will explore an architect's role in managing firm operations and finances.

The RAIC is seeking educators, subject matter experts (SME), and course developers to work together on the development and administration of new educational initiatives for the RAIC Continuing Education program.   

The RAIC is committed to highly interactive, hybrid learning experiences. As such, all courses will include an online component. Some courses will be designed exclusively for online learning. 

The RAIC invites applications for the development of the following courses:   
- Architecture Practice Management  
- Human Resources for Architects   
- Consultant Coordination for Architects  
- Marketing for Architects   

The situation regarding COVID-19 will continue to evolve over the coming weeks and monthsand, as such, the RAIC will share information as it becomes available. The organization will make any changes required to reflect updates in the understanding of COVID-19.

The RAIC maintains a library of practice builder resources available to members and non-members through the RAIC Store. Practice evolves and practice builder resources need to be updated to address the factors that influence the profession.

A volunteer position is open on the CCDC panel for an RAIC representative from Quebec. The candidate must be conversant in construction contracts and possess ample experience in the design-construction industry to understand the nuances of client-contractor and client-architect relationships. The candidate should be familiar with the Civil Code as it applies to construction contracts, payment, lien rights, and related legislation.
