The program consists of five online, video-based modules created by a majority Indigenous-owned company.

This course is self-paced and takes 4 to 5 hours to complete with a certificate provided upon completion. Available in English or French, the course is available to you until May 31, 2022.

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is pleased to begin accepting submissions for the 2022 RAIC International Prize. The Prize, awarded every two years, celebrates architecture that is judged to be transformative within its societal context and emblematic of the human values of respect and inclusiveness 
  
Architects, teams of architects, and architect-led collaborations are invited to submit a building or a related group of buildings that has been completed, occupied and in use for at least two years prior to the entry deadline. The deadline for receipt of submissions for the 2022 RAIC International Prize is December 3, 2021. 

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada is pleased to welcome Amanda Shore to the RAIC operational team as the incoming Program Coordinator, effective June 14, 2021.

Amanda graduated from Queen’s University with an undergraduate degree in Art History and a master’s degree in Architecture from Carleton University. Following her master’s, Amanda was fortunate enough to live and work in architecture firms in New York City, Toronto and Ottawa.  
 
Amanda is excited to begin work at the RAIC, where she will switch gears from the world of practicing architecture to one that promotes, celebrates, and elevates the field– both in Canada and around the world. 
 
At the RAIC, Amanda will be responsible for providing ongoing support with the RAIC’s Honors and Awards program, the College of Fellows, and the RAIC Foundation. 

The Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) has just announced an open international architectural competition for international open architectural project competition of the building complex of Jonušas Radvila Palace and it‘s approaches in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The competition calls for a vision for the revitalization and empowerment of the Radvila Palace building complex – museum of art and design: to create a museum of global art and design, showcasing art of different periods from different countries of the world. Visual art and design is the core concept that binds the whole complex of buildings together. It must also become an attractive public cultural space, accessible to all.

The contest is open to companies, architect and design agencies, workshops, professional associations and freelancers. Both the work carried out and the projects that are in the conceptual stage are accepted. The Eurasian Prize Awards honor both projects that have already been brought to life and well-presented ideas and concepts.

Acceptance of works for participation in the 16th season of the Eurasian Prize, the largest architecture and design competition on the Eurasian area, will last until June 30, 2021, and after the cost of the registration fee will increase.

The participants can pay the registration fee now, but complement their projects in the own accounts on the Prize’s website until the entry deadline: add illustrations, change the description, etc.
