What is Professional Liability Insurance and do I need it?

Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) protects you against liability or allegations of liability for injury or damages that have resulted from a negligent act, error, or omission that has arisen out of your professional capacity as an architect. Your coverage insures payment of both compensatory damages and legal costs associated with a claim.

RAIC Connects – A Community of Members

RAIC Connects is a virtual community where members share ideas, discuss practice challenges, post questions, read and share articles, learn about fellow RAIC members, and benefit from shared knowledge, resources, and information. 

Access to RAIC Connects is automatically given when receiving membership. Some popular discussion threads include the architectural licensing process in Canada, the adaptive reuse of popular projects like Calgary's Castell Building, collaborating remotely on Revit, and, of course, getting to know everyone a little better through the ‘Introduce Yourself' thread.
